GIVE A FUCK TO WHAT'S FUCKWORTHY

I'm just from reading "The subtle art of not giving a fuck by Mark Mason" in case of any similarities, I don't give a fuck! In the spirit of the new year I thought long and hard about my new year resolutions but couldn't find any, for a moment I thought my mind is still hazy from too much merry-making over the festive season. Anytime I touch my pen and paper one thing keeps popping up in my mind " Give a fuck to what's fuckworthy" and I've decided to make it the theme of the year.

I know, I know before you  judge my language "Give a fuck to what's fuckworthy " Means that you should invest your time and emotions in what truly matters e.g Friends, family, and purpose, and not trivial shit such as what people say and think about you, how rude the conductor responded to you on your way home, how quickly the batteries die in the T.V remote, Your boyfriend not posting you on whatsapp or facebook, how long your crush takes to respond to your text, your favorite cousin not calling often, how the weather has inconvenienced you to wear that short skirt, among many others.

Most of the time we waste our sweet time worrying about trivial shit that we don't have control over, and some of them won't matter in the future because of how frequently the dynamics of our relationships and interests change. Instead we should channel that energy into things that matter to us, or spend our time living and enjoying the moment because that's the first step to creating a beautiful future.

If you find yourself consistently giving a fuck about petty shit chances are you don't have much going on in your life to give a legitimate fuck about and that's where the big problem is. The first step to mitigating this situation is by finding your purpose, our purpose is related to our set of talents, experiences, skillsets, and interests.

Whatever is fuckworthy should be tailored to an individual set of values and principles. Of course career and finances must be carefully considered to allow a balanced view.
